The JBL Pumori is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker that reinterprets some of the brand’s historic qualities in a contemporary form: dynamics, authority and the ability to involve the listener.
During the review, its presentation does not chase a cold or hyper-analytical transparency. Instead, it focuses on harmonic substance and the natural character of instruments. The Pumori retains the visceral impact associated with JBL while also showing a notable ability to reveal the more delicate texture of music.
Declared specifications include a 38 mm compression tweeter, 20 cm mid-bass driver, 25 cm woofer, proprietary MultiCap crossover with bi-wire and bi-amp capability, 30 Hz–32 kHz frequency response, 4-ohm impedance and 87 dB sensitivity.
